There are 3 tabs in the Ad performance which have different functions regarding your Facebook ads namely, Campaign, Ads Set and Ads.
What Are We Looking For?
Daily Spend – this is how much are you spending on ads per day. Is it close to the budget you and your digital marketer agreed on or is way beyond that?
Under the Campaign Tab (other tabs have these as well) look for this columns:
Results – shows how many clicks you’ve gained. Try to compare it with last weeks clicks. Are they increasing or decreasing?
Cost – shows how much per click cost.
Reach– shows how many users came across your content. Did you meet your target reach?
Spent Today – shows how much you spent today? Is it beyond your budget?
Total Spent – shows the total spent on your campaign. Did you spend enough on that campaign?
At this point , your probably have an idea how your budget is spent and if the agreement with your digital marketer is being met.
Compare reports with your digital marketing agency. Sit down with them and discuss what your targets are and how will they be able to achieve that. Don’t be afraid to ask how and why. You can also talk to us.
